From the ranch

Miniature animals for sale

From time to time, animals raised on this land may be available for new homes — miniature highland cows, miniature donkeys, miniature sheep, milk goats, and riding horses. Availability varies; inquire, and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

We do not keep a public inventory list or publish prices on this site. Breeding and placement are done with care for the animal and for the place they will go. There is no cart and no claim of stock on hand. When something may be ready, we arrange the conversation by inquiry.

What we may place

Animals we raise

These are the kinds of animals that live and work on Victorian Highland Ranch. Any sale depends on the season, the herd, and a good match for the buyer’s property and experience.

Cattle

Miniature highland cows

The ranch’s namesake, kept in miniature. When a highland may leave for a new pasture, we look for a home that understands fencing, forage, and the quiet dignity of the breed — not a novelty on a lawn.

Companions

Miniature donkeys

Steady companions with long ears and a temperament suited to a working smallholding. Placement is considered; we prefer buyers who already keep livestock or who are ready to learn with patience.

Flock

Miniature sheep

A small flock animal, best placed where there is pasture, shelter, and company of their own kind when possible. We do not list headcounts here; ask, and we will say what the season allows.

Dairy

Milk goats

Goats kept for milk on the ranch. When a doe or kid may be placed, we ask about your milking plans, fencing, and daily care — so the animal’s work and welfare continue well beyond our gate.

Saddle

Riding horses

Horses kept for riding, not as lawn ornaments. Any sale is rare and carefully matched: experience in the saddle, safe facilities, and a clear plan for the animal’s life after they leave Clyde.

How we place

Responsible breeding & sale

We raise animals as part of a working ranch, not as a catalog. That means we may have nothing ready for months, and then a season when a careful placement makes sense. We would rather say no than send an animal to a home that cannot keep them well.

Please tell us about your property, your experience with livestock, and which animals interest you. Pricing, health records, and transport are discussed only after we confirm that something may be available and that the fit seems sound. Nothing is charged on this preview site.

Meet the animals who live here on the Animals page. Guest visits and experiences are separate from sales — see Experiences.
