Short-term cottages
Two cottages on the ranch in Clyde, Texas — The Jasmine and The Rosemary — each with a kitchen, laundry, a private porch, a private yard and garden, and guest access to the conservatory for coffee, tea, or simply to relax. About fifteen minutes from Abilene.
The Jasmine & The Rosemary
Both cottages are kept for a short stay, not a hotel corridor. You cook if you wish, wash what you need, and sit out of doors when the weather is kind. Choose Jasmine or Rosemary when you book.
Prepare meals as you would at home. Order groceries from our menu before you arrive; we stock the kitchen so you need not drive into Abilene for the first supper.
Laundry on the premises, so a longer stay or a dusty afternoon with the animals need not follow you home.
A porch of your own — coffee at first light, a chair at dusk, the ranch at a polite distance.
Each cottage has a yard and garden of its own — not only the shared plantings of the ranch. Step out from the porch; the ground at your door is yours for the stay.
As a cottage guest, you are welcome in the conservatory area for coffee, tea, or a quiet hour under glass — part of the stay, not a separate ticket.

Two cottages
We open with The Jasmine and The Rosemary — each with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, private porch, and its own yard and garden. Pick one when you request a stay.
Cottage I
Named for the climbing vine — a quiet cottage with its own porch, yard, and garden. Same comforts as its twin: cook, wash, and sit outdoors with the ranch at a polite distance.
Cottage II
Named for the herb-border garden — a twin cottage with the same kitchen, laundry, porch, and private outdoor space. Choose Rosemary if that is the house you want for your nights on the ranch.
A stay
The kitchen is yours. Open the porch and take the first quiet hour in your own yard and garden before the ranch fully wakes. The animals are on the land, not a spectacle at the door.
Walk the property as a guest, not a tourist. Cottage guests are welcome in the conservatory area for coffee, tea, or simply to relax beneath the glass — a quiet Victorian pause between the porch and the pasture. Laundry can wait until evening, or not at all.
Cook if you like — the ranch is fifteen minutes from Abilene, close enough for a proper shop, far enough that a stocked kitchen is a kindness. Sit on the private porch or in your yard when supper is done.
Fifteen minutes from Abilene
Guests often want a real kitchen, not a restaurant week. Abilene is about a fifteen-minute drive; useful, but not the first errand after a long arrival. Order from the cottage grocery menu when you request a stay. We put the food in the kitchen before you get here.
Breakfast, staples, produce, and something for the stove. Add what you need, skip what you do not. If your list is particular, write it in the stay request and we will do our best.

Companions
Well-mannered dogs are welcome in our cottages, with a few clear courtesies so the ranch and its own animals remain at ease.
Ranch policy — well-mannered small dogs are welcome under the terms below.
A maximum of two small dogs, each under 25 lbs.
A fee is charged per pet per stay: $50. Nothing is taken on this form; we confirm when we reply.
Cats, larger dogs, or more than two pets are not permitted unless arranged in writing beforehand.
