Horse riding on the ranch
Guests may request time with the riding horses when staffing and the animals’ day allow. Sessions are guided, paced for the rider’s comfort, and kept short enough that the horses stay willing partners — not props for a photograph alone.
Experience levels vary. Tell us whether you are new to the saddle, returning after years away, or confident on trails. We shape the ride to the group and the weather. Helmets and sensible footwear are expected; we will confirm what to bring when we reply.

Meet the animals
Animal petting & visits
Miniature highland cattle, donkeys, sheep, and milk goats share the land. A meet-the-animals visit is a quiet introduction — scratching a willing goat, watching highlands at pasture distance, learning how the ranch keeps them — not a free-for-all petting zoo.
Children are welcome when supervised. Feeding happens only when we invite it. Pair a visit with a cottage stay or book it on its own — cottage guests also have access to the conservatory area for coffee, tea, or a quiet rest.
